Our client approached us to assist with construction documentation and construction services—something that has become synonymous with our practice—after the planning permit had already been issued. The project later underwent a redesign that increased the development from 60 to 90 apartments before construction began.
This was an especially rewarding project, as we were able to collaborate with builders and consultants we’ve partnered with for many years. The team had a shared understanding of how each other worked, which made for a smooth and efficient delivery.
Our Role
Engaged post-permit, our focus was on producing comprehensive construction documentation and redesigning to improve the project’s overall function and liveability—all while remaining within the approved planning envelope.
We rationalised apartment layouts to enhance spatial efficiency, circulation, and amenity, with particular consideration of the requirements unique to hotel-style accommodation. For our team, this was a valuable opportunity to engage with the distinct planning and operational needs of the hospitality sector—an experience we embraced and delivered with enthusiasm.
The result is a cohesive, high-quality outcome that balances buildability, user experience, and brand alignment.
